It's too damn hot!!! | 真是熱斃了！！！！

Man!!! It has been really really hot here in HK the past couple of weeks. I have started work on "the Protege" and it's been tough because of the heat. I've forgotten how uncomfortable it can be to film during the summer in Hong Kong. It's fine if you're only in it for a couple hours a day but we have been spending at least 9 hours a day outside. Hopefully it will cool down some. It's strange because it feels hotter than it's ever felt in Hong Kong and I wonder if global warming has anything to do with it. Other than that the movie is going well. As I said before I love working with Derek Yee and this time I get to work with the legend Andy Lau. This is our first time working together and I am very excited. I think he has to be the biggest entertainer in Asia. It's actually been a long time since I have worked on a Hong Kong production, over a year! The last Hong Kong film I made, not counting Heavenly Kings, was over a year ago with "Drink, Drank, Drunk" also with Derek Yee. Our schedule is pretty tight so we have been working almost everyday. We had a couple days off here and there so the crew could watch the World Cup matches. When I'm working my social life doesn't really exist. I go to work, come home, eat, prepare for the next day's work and then go to sleep. So needless to say it's been a while since I've seen the ALIVE boys. They seem pretty busy too. Still no excuse for them not blogging! Anyway, I also finished all the work for The Heavenly Kings DVD. If everything goes according to plan it should be out by next week. We created a special director's edition which will have a limited 2000 copy release. This version will include a bunch of special features and a small photo book. If you can get your hands on one of these go for it! Ok, gotta get ready for work! Take care, Daniel

好傢伙！過去那幾個禮拜，香港真熱得夠嗆！我已經開始在拍「The Protégé」，真的很辛苦，因為天氣實在太熱。

我已經忘了在香港夏天拍戲有多辛苦了，如果你只是拍幾個小時還則罷了，但我們必須得在戶外起碼拍九個小時呢！我真希望能涼快那怕只是一點點。好奇怪，香港感覺好像越來越熱了，應該是受到地球暖化的影響吧。

除此以外，電影拍得很順利，我以前就說過，我喜歡跟爾冬陞一起工作，這次更有機會與影壇名人劉德華一起拍片，我們是第一次合作，我覺得很興奮。我想他是亞洲娛樂圈至大的一顆星。

除了「四大天王」不算，我已經有超過一年的時間沒拍過港產片，上次拍的港產片，則是一年多前跟爾冬陞拍「千杯不醉」。

我們的時間表排得很緊，所以我們幾乎每天都在一起開工。我們也有幾天休息，所以大家才能看到世界盃。

當我工作的時候，我完全沒有了社交生活。我只是工作、回家、吃飯、為第二天的工作做準備和睡覺。所以不用說，完全是沒時間跟「Alive」的任何一個人聯络，實際上他們每個人也都在各忙各的。

但是這不是他們沒有上網寫日誌的藉口噢。

不論如何，我總算是把「四大天王」影碟的所有工作全做完了。如果要一切都按計劃進行，下個禮拜就會發行了。我們只做了限量兩千張的導演版，這特別版還包括了花絮片段和小寫真集等。手快有手慢冇啊！

好了，又得去工作了！
