No that's not a space ship, it's a boat. The night of Overheard 2's premiere I arrived in Tsim Sha Tsui a bit early. On the plane back from Beijing the newspaper mentioned that there was a fully solar powered boat visiting Hong Kong on it's way around the world, so I decided to check it out. The Turanor PlanetSolar  is a solar powered boat that runs off the 5000sq.ft of solar panels on it's outer shell. It set sail from Monaco and was in Hong Kong to show us the applications of solar power. At $23million USD dollars to build, I don't think it's entirely efficient yet but at least someone is exploring the technology. Pretty cool!
