It transform into a bike for high speed, and retract the extra wheel for smaller turning radius and quicker maneuvering at low speed.

The inventor was in HS when the came up with it. I think he's still in his early 20s.

actually i had the same question as Patrick... a regular two wheeled motorcycle is already pretty maneuverable compared to a car... I'm not sure if the value added from low speed maneuverability is that big of a bonus. A non-transforming electric motorcycle is probably a better idea. :-P

on two wheels, it can go on the sidewalks and indoors like a sigway. Other than practical reasons, it's a kinda cool. But I doubt any real bikers will be converting to ride this instead.
