A little too S&M for my taste, or maybe not extreme enough? I'm not sure. These don't work so well for me. Maybe these pics aren't pushing enough buttons and making me squirm enough? Can't really pinpoint what's not working for me.
Any decent Digital SLR with a tripod will do. It's just lighting. You light the scene this way. Use a tripod bc it's probably too dark for handheld or else it will get too grainy or blurry.
