When I was in Biei, I went to a shop which a local artist was living there with her 2 sons.
It's in the middle of Biei, if I didn't have GPS in my car, I don't think I could ever find that place again.
The works she had shown in her house were all very beautiful and nature. At that very moment, I really wished to buy all of them and bring them back to Hong Kong... or to live there...
When I visited a little girl and a friend of her was there too.
Very cute little girl and a bit shy... LOL The doll was also the creation of Rustic 貴妃花. :-)
At last, I bought 2 things from her that day before I left, I bought a " Teru Teru Bo-Zu" (in Japanese てるてるぼーず). It's a doll which you hang by the window to pray for sunny days. If you put it upside down, then you are praying for rain instead.
As a photographer, I bet I will hang it the normal way most of the time :-)
The other one I bought was the head of a snowman with beard. Very cute, will share that with you guys really soon.
