Today I'm performing at San Quentin Prison • The Last Mile • I was introduced to this program by filmaker Ondi Timoner (Dig, Brand - The Second Coming), who made a documentary about The Last Mile project. It was screened at HATCH15 in Montana, in September, and I was so touched by the effect this program had on the inmates and how it only makes sense to train and educate them to break the vicious cycle when they get back into the real world. I'm honored to be a part of something that truly makes a difference in the world. I know this will be quite an experience to say the least. Unfortunately no filming is allowed, but I will do my best to document what I can and when I can. This is a movement that needs to be heard.
