Lemonade Day 8

The salt water rinse certainly did the job. Luckily I don't have to work early for the next two days so I will be sure to keep flushing out the garbage.

However, today presented some interesting challenges. I had to make a social appearance at a bar opening. It was the new branch of CD Bar, formerly City Dancer a play I used to frequent 3-4 nights a week back when I first started drinking. I started out very good with just a big glass of warm water, but of course some friends managed to put some whiskey in that for me. But even before that I was 50/50 all day long about breaking the fast tomorrow. Especially after going to work from 1-3am. Hopefully after sleeping it off and an easy day tomorrow I will still have the resolve to finish the 10 days. Besides that, I still haven't lost enough on my waist so if nothing else that is good enough reason to endure.
