Premiere of our rocking reindeer flick...
I finally made a film that my kids should watch, as opposed to the ones they normally do... (Like 'Kick Ass' and 'Predators'). 'Little Gobie' is a 3D animated film (in theatres as I write!) is a morality tale of reindeer's quest to find Santa... Directed by the wonderfully talented Tony Tang and produced (primarily) by Charlie Wong, and Peggy Lee and myself... My first foray into animation!
The premiere was held waaaay out in Tseung Kwan O, and I duly trekked out there with Liz, myself and two twins (Calvin and Kyle) in tow. They had a great time: my kids love 3D anything, but especially like the fact that my name was flying out of there during the credits.
Ever supportive, and stylish!, Calvin even donned a Gobie t-shirt :
We had Gobie himself on stage, dancing with our 'Beach Spike!' performers Bro 5. (There are actually four of them, five including Gobie.)
Several 'Spike!'cast members were on hand. Never a bad thing! That's me and Teresa at the top of the page, as well as beauty...
And the beast...
And the great Law jung-him
Gobie was on screens everywhere we looked...
Our partners from Tsui Wah staged a great party, and we all raised a glass on stage. (That's me, the camera aware white guy in back...)
A great time was had by all. So have a kid and go see it (psst its also a great stoner film, if anyone out there fancies tripping to 3D technicolour candy and a giant robot donut...!)
