The cutting edge of the extended Lofan clan...

Its been quite a couple of weeks in terms of films and fun, friends and family. I was really happy to reconnect with my old buddy, Richard Sun, the very good bad guy from 'Gen-Y Cops'. Richard is based in Taiwan, where he works as an actor and TV host, and I hadn't seen him in ages.

Richard came up to the chez Logan, Liz cooked a great dinner and a fun time was had by all!

Hope we can work together on something soon!

My buddy Jenny 'The Slam' Lam, a who trains and teaches Thai boxing at Pure Fitness, took part in an inter club fight night. This was held at The Ring in Lan Kwai Fong. It was a great venue, packed, sweaty and wild; it had the feel of an underground fight club!

My boys Calvin and Kyle were so excited to see Jenny 'jeh jeh' hit the ring, and were yelling out encouragement throughout the three rounder.

Jenny really shone, and definitely had the most charisma of anyone on the card!

Its hard to believe this fierce creature is so graceful when she learns the sword from Mak Sifu and myself!

Between her, actress and author Juju Chan and Riely Saville (The Little Mermaid from Disneyland!), our sessions down on the docks are starting to look like a Benetton ad.

My friend Fern Waranya was in town to take part in the Miss Asia pageant. I worked with this Bangkok-based model and actress on both 'Shanghai' and 'Blood Bond :`Shadowguard', and it was great to see her on my native turf.

My twin boys were especially happy, as she let them borrow her PSP while she was in China for the event! Fern didn't place in the pageant, but she did win Miss Friendship (AKA Miss Congeniality). And quite right, too! They don't come more congenial than Fern. She's since returned to Thailand to start work on a new TV series, in which she plays an evil assassin...

And what of Ryan? My Facebook addicted eldest son is looking more like a certain boy wizard every day!
