lets get this fact out first:

Iverson, even in his prime, was a ball dominating undersized shoot-first guard with no jumper. these type of players are almost always nearly-impossible to build a championship team around. with him you were almost locked to be somewhat good but never great.

but what you were getting every night was all out passion. heart. love for the game. often the smallest one on the court, he played like he was the biggest.

and this is why he belongs in philly, the city of Rocky Balboa, the city of the working class underdog. Iverson started his career here, and he'll end his career here. Denver? Detroit? Memphis? those were all stops and connecting points for AI. he always was Philly.
