Before I get started thought I would congradulate a few people for their performances at the recent World Wushu Championships........congradulations to the now senior competitor in the Wushu World: He Jing De....he can claim to be the oldest Wushu World Champion......Jiayo!! Also, congrats to fellow Hong Kong Team Member Colin Cheng on his first Gold Medal at the International Level.......indeed Coach Gao Song is to be congradulated for fielding a very good Hong Kong Team. Loren, while I know you did not medal in your first World Competition......good job, you finished among the top 25 in the World...and you had a great time....keep training hard and you will be a World Champion!
Just returned from Beijing...little beat but had a great time. Grandmaster Feng Zhi Qiang, just had his 3rd World Taiji Conference and Competition. The conference was a great success...over 1,000 competitors and coaches attended the event from all over the world, including Russia, Belize, Japan, Okinawa, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Holland, Germany, Canada, USA.....had two delegations......California Delegation, and a St Louis Delegation led by an old friend, Sifu Justin Meehan, and also many representatives from various regions and schools inside China. I was quite pleased with Jason's performance...my number two disciple..he won a Gold in the 24 Hun Yuan Taiji Division. As I get my self together will post more about the event...gotta catch up on little things like paying bills and doing some house cleaning!! Gotta prepare for class cya all!!
