Tiling is running slightly behind schedule. Guys had to call it a day, but after watching them do it, its a pain-staking fiddly job that requires much exacting precision. Some of those cuts are INSANE. I can tile just fine (and even the tiler having looked at the stuff I did myself said he was impressed with my first attempt at tiling - but MAN I am so glad someone else is doing this. So far, I am really happy with the finish. Floors definitely finished tomorrow though. I think it may look even better than I thought. #AngellReno
Looking for "Man power' on the weekend if anyone is available? It's boring; move this stuff there, clean this stuff here, that kind of thing.
I teared up watching this - so very powerful. "Despair is a way of life". So sad. So Tragic.
Chele I think you will like this...
A Narcissist's Prayer:
That didn't happen.
And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
And if it was, that's not a big deal.
And if it is, that's not my fault.
And if it was, I didn't mean it.
And if I did...
You deserved it.

I love doing contract work but I just don't have enough of it - my short term prospects are fine but my medium term prospects of 10 hours a week just isn't enough to survive on. :(
Since that is unlikely to change I have little choice but to apply for a job for the first time in 12 years. Its a Senior Rails job that will allow me to work remotely (from home) for a company in the education sector. I am very nervous about it. It sounds like an awesome opportunity.
But I wish so hard I didn't have to do this...
