Update on Xander - Out of recovery and in the Pediatric Ward at Logan. He is smashed; very sore, very sick and extremely tired. They've increased his pain meds; so he is a bit disoriented and drifting in and out of consciousness. Only been able to talk to him a sentence at a time before he drifts back off again.

Thanks for all the well wishes, I have been passing them on to him. The 2 of u had pretty much the whole children's emergency ward and children's short term stay to ourselves with the nurses so we've had a great time making jokes and being silly, but it's his Mum he really wants to see I think.

While I'd be happy to stay another night here; I am grateful to be relieved by Julie-Anne tonight becasue I'm not built to handle 36 hours of no sleep.
