Dj Kentaro: Interview + Dj Set

As some may have noticed I'm a bit of a audiophile, particularly for the stuff that is creatively put together and DJ Kentaro is someone whose music I've admired for some time, so when we heard he was playing at cliq the Code 3 crew ( same guys behind the coffee table book) decided we had to get an interview with him! We picked up the phones and made some calls, resulting in an interview that was not only informative but very fun to boot !

Kentaro was well cool and talking to him after the interview was interesting as well. He's genuinely down to earth and friendly plus is a total music addict talking about shifting BPM's and Ableton Live (is there anyone who doesn't love that bit of software?).

I also got him to sign my copy of his DVD ( Enter the New Ground) which I bought when I was in Japan a while back (not knowing I would one day be involved in interviewing him for a show I had, at that time, not even though of the concept for yet, funny how things go..).

Watch my blog for more info on the 2nd project we (Code 3) are working on, we have already interviewed some very cool people in the Hong Kong Entertainment, Media and Creative industries, but am gonna hold off spilling to much info on that for a while ;)

The Coffee table book shoots will also continue on the 20th of April so it's all well exciting !
