Stories, got lots of em, but writing scrīpts and sending em to production companies
always seems to take too long. For one I'm sick off falling into the situation of people buying em and not making a film OR running into the classic situation where you get called into some office like 7 times only to then get told "nope I don't get it" by some guy who himself usually wrote some REALLY bad, uncreative, screenplays that failed both financially and artistically (because in the film industry you can apparently only fail upwards).
Soooooo when someone asked if I wanted to turn one of the Counterf!t characters into a comic book, I was like yeah! Cool! now? ok! (and went home to write the story like 5 seconds later).
Foon Wong will be doin the drawings for all of the comic which rocks because he's well daring and drew the original characters, which makes his involvement total sense. (Go bug him about about the previous comic book stuff he did, its worth it).
I'll try and post some pics of the comics up in the future, hopefully people will like it, its basically a mix of robots, hip-hop, Hong Kong and ice cream, so that should be fun.
Other than that the calendar is creeping up on me for the Counterf!t toy so I'm pushing to get that done BUT I've managed to get the distribution rights for Toy from design studio Hanazuki, so hopefully I'll find a cool retailer for it.
Finally I can't believe someone made an energy drink based on the designs of the old energy capsules in the Megaman games. Gotta love Japanese pop culture, I really should go there again sometime soon...
