It was blast at the OTWS Launch party!Thank you everyone turned up and donate money to our 3 expedition Charities.Another special thanks to our sponsors:Philia Lounge, The Flying Pan, Vince Chung, DJ Constant Lee, Elden Cheung, all the crew Anniewho Production Ltd and product sponsors for the lucky draw.Cant believe Charlie is leaving on 17th May on his way driving from Hong Kong to Portugal.‘On the Wrong Side’ had the Launch party at Philia Lounge Central, Hong Kong on 24 th March 2010.

Just over 1 year ago, Charlie found the car that could possibly get him from Hong Kong to

Portugal and at the same time confidently take on some of the world's toughest terrain.

This and other anecdotal stories on off-road training, bureaucratic visas and some of the challenges he expected were warmly presented to a fun crowd in Philia Lounge, Central.

The OTWS launch event was MC'd by Vince Chung, winner of Amazing Race Asia, with music by DJ Constant Lee.

Towards the end of the evening some top prizes from generous sponsors were presented by lucky draw, and donation boxes were passed around with all monies raised going towards the expedition charities.

With fans from over 10 countries actively following the expedition and less than 40 days to go, preparations to ready the vehicle, test out all the equipment, finalise documentation and do interviews, the team is seriously busy!

Charlie's advice to anyone who is thinking of doing a similar expedition? "There is never enough time for planning, its a race against time to meet the China Visa deadline, that and all the other 'issues' that raise their ugly head and broadside you at 4pm on a Monday afternoon. Welcome to overlanding!"

"Everything is coming together, to say its a smooth operation would be untrue....but its all part of the learning curve of planning and executing such an expedition.  Bring on May!"
