Showing On The Wrong Side Street Interview Clips
On May 17th 2010, Charlie Frew will leave Hong Kong bound for Portugal. On the Wrong Side Trans Eurasian Charity Expedition will start at Cape D'Aguilar on Hong Kong Island and finish at Cape Saint Vincent in Portugal, sometime in 2011. Unsupported, the expedition is the first of its kind to see how global warming connects people across Eurasia.
After crossing through China the route takes Charlie through Mongolia, Siberia, the Arctic Circle and Russia. It then continues through Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Spain, ending in Portugal some 25,000 miles later.
Described as a seriously tough 4x4 adventure, Charlie has undergone intense off-road training to help track down remote communities and document real world observations of extensive environments. "Planning and executing this charity expedition will not only challenge myself but also find out what I am capable of".
At the same time the expedition will be raising money for at least three charities, with proceeds going to CNCF, SOS Children's Village (the most northerly orphange in the world), and the Shark Trust
