GIFT SKATEBOARD CHINA

I met Johnny Tang quite sometime ago, I remember when he came up to the shop and our staff at that time told me that there was this very polite Canadian Chinese kid that came up wearing i-Path. I remember that night he was skating at The Heaven Ledge (RIP spot) and a local kid told me that Johnny was super super amazing. I wanted to meet Johnny but didn’t have the chance.

He came back though and we had the chance to meet up. While skating with him, I was super amazed. Johnny was and is definitely GIFTED with skateboarding skills.

I can guarantee that he has the most control on his skateboard than anybody else in the whole greater China (including Hong Kong).

As I got to know him, I found out that he’s not only super amazing on his skateboard but also one of the most humble great skateboarders out there with a smile on his face 24-7.

I’m so glad to see Johnny TANG finally moved out to China from Canada to represent China and proudly represent GIFT skateboards from China throughout the world. I have to say GIFT skateboards is legit.

GIFT skateboards was founded by his good friend Jeff (also owner of FLY skateboard shop). When I first met Jeff, I didn’t have the chance to hang out. After about the 4th time, we hung out and I found out that Jeff is a very real person and I liked and respect him for that. He puts his heart and soul into building the greatest skateboard brand in China ‘GIFT’ with the most talented skateboarders riding for him in China. There’s no other companies out there that can even come close. And that is most definitely DEDICATION.

I would like to congratulate GIFT for it’s 10th Anniversary, 10, 20, 30 and more to come for sure. Keep skateboarding real in China and people will eventually recognize out there for sure.
