Giant Robot featuring Ryan Hui

You all know that Giant Robot magazine has been holding it down in the US of A. A very entertaining and interesting magazine that represents (mostly) Asian culture. I’m so glad to see our good friend; Ryan Hui was interviewed in the last Giant Robot issue.

I’ve met Ryan back back in the day in the early 90’s, he was a quiet skateboarder, was pretty damn ill on his board, he got guts for days. He was so quiet and never said a word…I thought he was a dick. Knowing him, I’m feeling like a dick thinking of him as a dick. He’s one of the nicest human beings that loves skateboarding and music equally. Ryan has been skateboarding and playing his guitar and singing ever since I’ve known him. Most importantly, he’s always there to support whenever there’s a skateboard event or an underground local music show. Now, that’s love.
