What up guys, it's officially been a year since the birth of LUXLIVIN. I just wanted to extend my respect & support to everyone out here putting in their hard dedication, sweat, and time into their clothing businesses; I know there are many designers on board at aliveordead.com , so do share your story =)
So, I thought it would be helpful if all owners/designers here could gather our experiences over the past year; discuss your times or labor, hardships, and accomplishments you've mounted. I'm very curious of what you guys went through.
Here's my story..
1 year ago.. LUXLIVIN was established. We're now a Hip hop music & streetwear fashion company.. aiming for global recognition and standard. Our brand "LTL" Livin that luxury is a premium business streetwear targeted towards all business minded, sophisticated, and hard working mentality. Those with a go-getter attitude primarily. The young entrepeneurs out there striving to make things happen.
For first few months..
It was all about learning, researching, developing, making the right contacts. Designing threads. Branding LUXLIVIN as a discernible enterprise. I was always upbeat, running around the city, spreading the word. Learn, learn, learn. Plenty of restless late-night networking and marketing.
Half-year mark
(6 months): By now, we've cashed in
great sales and I've managed to build a successful PR campaign. Again,
a lot of internet marketing work had to be implemented.
We've released 2 Seasons of by now, and the LUXLIVIN Team has been growing steadily. I had to focus on a lot of internal PR work too.
2 Photoshoots have taken place, and there was only more growth planning - product expansion to make.
1-year mark:
We've established a strong brand recognition throughout South East Asia.
We've received great celebrity endorsements, released the LUXLIVIN Polos (Which was one of my goals within the first year). On top of that, we now also have a women's collection, and also jewelery products.
Throughout the year, we've upgraded the quality of our shirt three times.
Well, it's almost Christmas, and I'm finally giving myself at least a week break where I take a step back and assess everything before going hard at this again. The cycle just can't stop.
NEXT YEAR PLANS:
Going all out on internet marketing for LUXLIVIN. I'll be publishing support guides for free download and sales.
Here are some invaluable assets that kept me going:
Optimism. Faith. Commitment. Persistence. Confidence. Positive Outlook.
I'm glad I acquire the mentality of an entrepreneur, that's what really pushes me forward with an unwavering doubt that I can succeed.
Well that's my story as the CEO of LUXLIVIN. What's yours?
Feel free to check on our site when you have time, I appreciate you for coming through.
