Tailed to the Russian Ballet!

Sounds intriguing and like something out of a James Bond movie.  But no, it's more about attending the "Ballets Russes" Gala Ball hosted by the Contesa Charity to benefit the orphan children of AIDs in Zambia.

The tail coat is also in support of Casteaways, the charity run by St. John's cathedral.  On a lark I popped in and asked if they had a tail coat and of course they have many from which to choose.  I continue to find interesting, unique and inexpensive additions to my wardrobe department there.

The theme "Ballets Russes" allowed the creation of an ambience akin to winters in Mother Russia.

Cool, cold, and the ice lady blew me away!

But it was a hot evening with the entertainment program.

Above center is the founder of the Contesa Charity Esnat Avon.

The Contesa Charity raised HK$1.4 million on the evening and the entire amount will benefit the orphan children of AIDs in Zambia.

Guests of Honor on the evening were Her Excellency the Ambassador for Zambia to China, Mrs. Joyce M. Chembe Musenge;  His Excellency the High Commissioner for Zambia to Malaysia, Mr. Anderson Kaseba Chibwa; and Goodwill Ambassador Miss Zambia, Ms. Andella Chileshe Matthews.
