The last suit you'll ever wear.....again.....and again!

Today's phrase is Eldritch Abomination.  It's going to happen.  Be prepared.

Eldritch Abominations are usually preceeded by an Eldritch Anomaly.  The harbinger of the end of our Universe as we know it.  The threat of a superimposing skewed universe having no correlation whatsoever on our space time continuum is the soul genisis of cosmic horror.

I have witnessed the Eldritch Anomaly.

I was walking down Cotton Tree Drive adjacent to the U.S. Consulate.  The signs were all there.

There she was under the Weeping Fig.  She waited.  I crossed as the green man flashed.  She approached me and spoke:

"Your brain is damaged"

"How did you escape?", I replied.

"You can't"

With that she pressed into my hand the latest hot sheet.

But it wasn't the CIA exerting mind control.  It was coming from another universe. 

Then I saw if for myself two of my friends-unsuspecting victims of Spectral Aura Mind Control. 

Time to take action.

I walked away from the lady under the Weeping Fig.  Crossed the street and entered St. Johns Cathedral.  There at the Castaways Shop the lady handed me the suit.

"How much?"

"Forty (HK) dollars", she says.

I scanned the suit...the analyzer read out showed:

Canali Model AL 13320/32 made for Saks Fifth Avenue , 100% wool twill, three button front with dual side vents. MSRP HK$19,400.  Currently available on Ebay for HK$5,400.

"Lady you must be joking"

"Sir we here at Castaways have no sense of humor that we are aware of."

So I bought the suit. 

I make this look good.

You'll dress only in attire specially sanctioned by MiB special services. You'll conform to the identity we give you, eat where we tell you, live where we tell you. From now on you'll have no identifying marks of any kind. You'll not stand out in any way. Your entire image is crafted to leave no lasting memory with anyone you encounter. You're a rumor, recognizable only as deja vu and dismissed just as quickly. You don't exist; you were never even born. Anonymity is your name. Silence your native tongue. You're no longer part of the System. You're above the System. Over it. Beyond it. We're "them." We're "they."

Apologies for the tortuous and self amusing way of sharing with my fellow independent and freelance actors that Castaways located at St. John's Cathedral in Central is a great resource for quality re-spoke attire. 

The black suit, white shirt and black tie are a well visited cinematic ensemble with each visit having its own nuance.  The MIB franchise is built around it and the legacy includes:  La Dolce Vita, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, and the Blues Brothers (to name a few).  The Canali is not used in MIB interestingly enough you will see no apparel name attached to the MIB franchise.  Why?  Because they were tailor made by the costume designer who tested some 200 fabrics prior to fabrication of the suits.  MIB 3 change of camera and film stock required new suiting.  Rayban was the original eyewear partner with their Predator models but MIB 3 sees the made for merchandise product from Agent.

Prior to this I did not own a black suit, but as with anything, you want: "the best of the best of the best".  

Now at HK$40 (total outlay HK$220 with alterations), I have a suit that I really enjoy wearing as I do not tolerate long hours in synthetic or sythetic blended materials.

Swing on by Castaways and do your thing for charity.  They don't always have all sizes and it can be luck of the draw.  But if you score, you can score well!
