Strong explosion wrecks Empire Gallery shopping mall in Subang

The Star, a Malaysian newspaper, reports that an explosion have hurt four and caused significant damage to the Empire Gallery shopping mall in Subang.According to the paper, the blast happened at the mall's lower ground floor in the wee hours of Wednesday morning. That particular floor is home to the food court.

The explosion has been linked to a gas pipeline and the damage seems to be extensive - two other floors were affected as well as an adjacent office block and studio apartment.Thank god it happened in the wee hours of the morning!
