AnD artist meet up in Penang

If you have been following my blog, you will notice that I was in Penang mainly for the Mean Machines 2011 event recently. On the other hand it was also my first AnD meet up in Penang as was planned earlier between BadBoyBen, Sean Tierneyand myself. I first met Ben and Sean at the Cone Masters event upon my arrival from KL. There wasn't a lot of time for us to hangout throughout the event so we each did our own stuffs at different corner of the event.  Sean is always busy entertaining all the time.I wrapped up my first day of the event smoothly and head back to the Ixora hotel together with my fellow  crew Bronson where Ben had booked for us at Butterworth mainland. I dozed off pretty fast that night but told myself not to miss the early morning buffet breakfast since its already been paid for. I bumped into Ben, Sean and the rest of their crew as we were heading for breakfast the next morning and joined in for breakfast. Although it was a relatively short time but we did managed to crack some jokes and snapped a few pics together before we headed off for the 2nd and final day of the event.At the breakfastAt the breakfast At the breakfastAt the 2nd day of the show, I took some time off from my side and headed to Ben's Cone Masters event to checkout the scene. The gymkhana was superb and it ran smoothly with lots of action and tire tracks all over. Ben was obviously busy with his mic while Sean was wondering about (I must say like a security guard joking). As the show came to a close on the 2nd day, my crews and I packed up and we headed back to Ixora Hotel one last time before checking out the next day. Back at the Ixora Hotel entrance, I managed to snap this lovely shot of our 2 VIP rides and two of Ben's gymkhana rides at the entrance of the hotel lobby. Entrance of the Ixora Hotel lobby.I checked out from Ixora Hotel and headed straight to Penang island the next morning to check into my next destination where Ben had booked earlier. It's the Notham all star suite highly recommended at a special price ONLY if you booked through Ben. Shortly after I checked in, Ben and Sean picked me up and we went for a round of DVD shopping at a mall. We later had seafood dinner joined by Ben's friend DJ Rafeal and a famous import model from LA miss Amy Fay. We adjourned later for drinks at G-Spot and I'll leave to the rest to the pics la....Dinner time.DrinksI guess its party timeThe next morning, I met up with a fellow friend Zeekay who runs a local RC hobby shop and also the founder of NEGATIVE for a short photoshoot of my ride at this place called Straits Quay. I must say the view there is just breathtaking. Zeekay doing what he does best at Straits Quay.The RC look a like Subaru belongs to Zeekay.Ben too have arranged for a 2nd photoshoot of my ride on the same day in an entirely different environment, an indoor car park. He gathered all his crew for a one hell of photoshoot which attracted not only the curious onlookers but even the security guards who were friendly enough to let us stay for the shoot and have themselves shot with SeanThe indoor car park. Anthony his photographer was waiting for him to finish up his shotUltimately the star was actually Sean. I must say this Penang trip has been the best for me so far, with so much good food, drinks and really great company with Ben and Sean around.
