As always, I've had an awesome week chilling in Bali with the family. The weather was stunning, and it's actually a lot less humid than Singapore. Our dear friend B built a beautiful villa in Bali so we're really lucky to stay here when we do shoot off to this beautiful island. I came to Bali for the very first time in 2002, and the place has really developed and modernized since then. Bali is truly a vacation destination for people from all over the world, and there are so many things to do and see now. This time, we made a visit to the Bali Bird Park and got up close and personal with a variety of exotic birds of paradise...
In fact, the bird keeper even allowed four birds to use me as a human branch...
...I was aiming to get a fifth bird on me, but the bird keeper said that four's the limit. Oh well...
Right next to the Bird Park was the Reptile Park with this bad boy ready to greet (and maybe eat) you!!
These places are a lot of fun since the workers are more than welcome to let you handle "most" of the featured creatures...even if you didn't have lunch yet!
In fact, I even got to kick it with a baby leopard at the Bali Safari on another day before her afternoon nap...
Now that I've got my "wildlife fix" all taken care of, it's time to head back to the villa and spring a cannonball into the pool to cool down!
Next time, I'll show you what I've been doing to stay in shape when I'm not busy handling animals or just monkeying around...
...I guess it includes acting like a monkey and playing in da trees!
