The Royal Treatment at the Park Royal on Pickering

Last week, I had the privilege and pleasure of being invited to stay at the newly opened Park Royal Hotel on Upper Pickering Street in Singapore.  I spent the time either enjoying all that this fine establishment had to offer or in a studio filming a new exercise campaign for the Health Promotion Board.  Conveniently located right in the heart of the CBS (Commercial Business District), the hotel made it really easy to walk from place to place, and I even got a good view of the park across the street…

One of the first things you’ll notice about this ultra-chic and modern hotel is its emphasis on being “green” and eco-friendly.  I really felt like I transported into an oasis of sorts away from the hustle and bustle of the cars, people, traffic, and congestion outside.

Anytime I was ready to grab some food, Park Royal at Pickering offered a wide selection of delicious grub at their Lime Restaurant…

…and when I happened to pile on too much in my belly, then I was more than ready to work it all off in their gym.

Of course, I can’t forget to mention the incredible infinity pool along with their birdcage gazebos that   offers a relaxing retreat…

And to top it all off, I cannot forget the Orchid Club Lounge located on the top level of the hotel where I could take in a 360 degree view of the city with my cocktails and canapés!

Yeah…you can say I more than enjoyed myself during this last trip back to Singapore, and I look forward to returning to the Park Royal Hotel at Pickering again soon!  In the meantime, I definitely need to give a big shout out to My Man K.S. for being so generous and accommodating to arrange this fantastic stay!
