Back on Track in Ordos

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve visited my own website and felt like posting anything up.  The last few weeks have been quite busy for “certain” reasons, and I really do appreciate everyone’s respect for privacy during this tenuous time for me.  Big changes still remain ahead for me, but it’s been nice to travel once again for work to Ordos in Inner Mongolia for the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia.  If you’ve ever been here before, then you know what I’m talking about when people say this place feels like a “ghost town” with many buildings in perpetual development and “half built”…

With so much land and natural resources,  Ordos is on the fast track for developing and expanding the city.  The only problem is to now figure out how to get people to want to live here!  In the meantime, the city has got their racetrack for us to visit for a weekend to enjoy some motor sport racing…

Time for the grid girls to make their entrance to line up the Porsche racing machines…

There’s always a buzz in the air as we prepare to race once again…

Congratz to Yuey Tan in today’s race too!  Now, everyone keeps telling me to try the goat in Ordos so I finally got my hands on one too so here we go!

..and on that note, it’ll be soon time to return to Shanghai before a trip to Singapore.  Quite honestly, I’m not sure what to expect or where to go from here during this major personal transitional period, but I just wanted to thank you all once again for your love, respect, and support.  Don’t forget to say “Waddup” if ya see me around!
