UFC Macao Press Conference in Hong Kong

Yesterday alive was fortunate enough to assist our friends at Fox Channels Asia with the pre-event Press conference for the upcoming UFC Macao (only two days away!)

The press event was held at Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui and featured four of the main card's fighters - Zhang Tiequan,  Kim Dong Hyun, Ben Franklin and Cung Le. 

In addition to some UFC officials,  the fighters also answered press questions, including one from Admin Bear (Cung's favorite HK movie is 36 Chambers of Shaolin, in case you were curious!).

Franklin and Cung both did a demo workout for the press as well.   Both looked pretty impressive although they of course are holding back their best moves for Saturday's fight! ;-)

Wow!The event also featured guest appearance by the UFC Macao's celebrity ring girls - That's Hong Kong's own super model Jessica C and South Korea's Kang Ye-Bin ( click for a viddy clip - http://viddy.it/RGkXNe) Hopefully they don't distract the fighters on fight night! 

Speaking of celebrity guests,  AnD's own Philip Ng came down to represent too - Philip and Cung worked together on Teddy Chen's 2009 film "Bodyguards and Assassins". Photo op for the HK press. Like all MMA fans,  Philip was happy to have the chance to meet former UFC champion Chuck Liddell.  (aka "The Ice Man"!) Here's Chuck demonstrating some of his MMA techniques on a poor undersized local youth!
