Hey everyone!  A big announcement we wanted to share with everyone:>Online artist community alivenotdead.com, in association with The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel are organizing an online band search to find the best local band to open for 2 time Grammy award winning rock band  Linkin Park during their concert at CotaiArena on August 16th, 2009.  The winning band will get to play a 30 minute opening set at the Linkin Park concert, at CotaiArena™ at The Venetian Macao.

 The public will help choose the band that opens for Linkin Park in an online poll hosted by alivenotdead.com from August 1st to August 9th.  Linkin Park will choose the winning band from the top five vote earners.

Any relevant musical act in Macao or Hong Kong is invited to participate in the contest.  The deadline for registering is July 31st.  Full instructions on how to register for the competition can be found at:
