Happy New Year to everyone! Admin Bear just woke up from a late night...
the NYE party at the Mira HK was a lot of fun, thanks to everyone who came out. More pics coming soon! (We also owe you some pictures from the Racks Christmas event last week!)
We want to take this opportunity to also let you know about a new ONLINE TV show we are working on with TVB.com, the online arm of Hong Kong's primary TV network. With generous support from San Miguel Beer, we will be putting on a series of monthly events over the next six months featuring Hong Kong indie bands as well as well known special guest artists.
These live events will be videotaped and broadcast on TVB.com's online video platform on a weekly basis. We're really looking forward to this show. 6 episodes x 3 bands per show = 18 indie acts in Hong Kong getting a platform to reach a lot of people in Hong Kong and beyond! (hopefully we can continue this show as a platform in the future too!)
The first show is THIS coming Friday January 7th, at the Backyard in Mongkok's Langham Place Hotel. The bands that will be playing are KILLER SOAP, TO NICK and SENSELESS, and we are happy to announce that Jun Kung and Eugene Pao are among the guest artists who will be also be sharing their music with us.

We have a few more free tickets to giveaway, otherwise entry is justHK$100 and includes a free drink (make it a San Miguel Beer of course!)
