Get out the Vote for CPAF - Toyota 100 Cars for Good!

Heads up everyone!  CPAF asked us to help them with a bit of promotion yet again!     Voting is open to people from all over the world, so check it out no matter where you are!

On Friday, August 12th, the Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF) is participating in Toyota’s “100 Cars for Good” (Facebook app) program as they compete against four other non-profits to win a brand new Toyota Sienna minivan.

CPAF serves survivors of domestic and sexual violence. The new Toyota will transport those escaping violent homes to CPAF’s shelters, medical appointments, legal appointments and court dates; and help families move into new homes independent of their abusers.

The Asian Professional Exchange (APEX) is proud to organize a “Get out the Vote” phone/internet bank.

When: Friday, August 12 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, PST

Where: Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA) 1102 Crenshaw Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90010 We are seeking volunteers on Friday, August 12, anytime between 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. to get out the vote! Attendees are being asked to bring their computers, cell phones, and organization members to join us as we reach out and urge our personal networks to vote for CPAF. Event will be streamed live featuring appearances by YouTube stars. Food and beverage will be provided by Wokcano.

Can’t make it to the APEX event? Host/organize your own call center by recruiting 10 or more of your friends or family to encourage their contacts to vote for CPAF.
