Tokyo, Japan – Reed Exhibitions Japan Ltd., Japan’s largest exhibition organizing company, has launched new exhibitions called “1stContent Creation & Delivery Solutions Expo” and “1stEntertainment Production Expo Tokyo” highlighting growing contents industry. From entertainment (music, movie, animation, TV, radio, CG, etc.) production company to company dealing in technology/service/product/solution for contents industry will be all gathered from around the globe. (300 exhibitors and 60,000* visitors are expected) These two exhibitions will be held along with Tokyo Int’l Book Fair, e-Book Expo Tokyo, LICENSING JAPAN and Creators’ Expo Tokyo from July 3 (Wed) – 5 (Fri), 2013 at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan.Now that progression of digitalization has accelerated by new technologies, there have been fewer borders between publishing, movie, animation, game and music industry. Similar outcome has emerged within our trade shows. Some of the exhibitors of “Tokyo Int’l Book Fair” and “e-Book Expo Tokyo” decide to exhibit at these shows to expand their business outside the framework of publishing. In response to the trend and requests from various companies, we have launched two exhibitions highlighting contents industry from contents creation/delivery solutions to entertainment production company itself.Since new exhibitions will be held along with “20th Tokyo International Book Fair,” “17th e-Book Expo Tokyo,” “3rd LICENSING JAPAN,” and “2nd Creators' Expo Tokyo,” these shows gather companies, media, individual creators and their solutions all together covering the whole contents industry. Since Japanese entertainment & media market is the second largest size in the world, we strive to make these exhibitions the Asia’s largest trade show for contents industry in the near future.
