The eve of the fifteenth day of chinese new year was once again held at Uncle Shane's house. Check out the awesome food!
For appetizer, we had Scallops and prawns. Yummy!
Then was Chicken & vegetable soup.
Cod fish with gingerized cabbage.
Here's something interesting. In the middle of the dinner, Uncle Shane served us each a small serving of Yuzu Sorbet. I still don't know what Yuzu means, but the sorbet was supposed help clear the fishy taste from our mouths. And so when the next dish is served, we get to enjoy it in its full glory.
AND the next dish is...
Kong Ba with rice! hahaha... How very Asian.
And for dessert, Tangerine Jello! A nice wrap up. (I think he used the left over CNY tangerines for this! Lol)
All in all, it was an enjoyable dinner. A rather Asian selection served with a touch of class, as always. Such is the style of Chef Shane from the ever humble Yellow Beetle Kitchen. ;)
Hope your Chap Gor Mare (eve of the 15th) was equally as fulfilling. :)
