Pretty disgusted with UBER.
First trip my mate was taken the long way around - and when we complained UBER said 'its ok that distance is within acceptable tolerances' even though the fare was 25% over the normal fare.
Second trip (home from where they went for their first trip)
Car did not show up - and left my friend (Who has a disability and finds it hard to stand up) - and then UBER charged them an $8 Cancellation fee. (A car matching the UBER description was there, but the car just waved them off and didn't even talk to them - but it may not have been 'the' UBER car. )
I managed after playing with the app for several minutes and following the obtuse instructions to be able to get the $8 fee refunded (not as Cash as it should have been, as an UBER credit).
It was obvious from using the app when something that went wrong that it was designed to make it as hard for people as possible to complain or get a refund.
