Sitting Bull was a Sha... My #3 vision of 2012. Sitting Bull and the Ghost Dance.
Sitting Bull was a Shaman and Chief of the Lakota people. He became very well known because he had two visions which came true. The first was that the Natives would have a huge victory agains the Europeans (Battle of Little Bighorn), the second was that his own people would kill him (a Lakota police was sent by the US government to apprehend Sitting Bull, a skirmish broke out and the Lakota shot Sitting Bull dead). A few days later, the Natives did a Ghost Dance and many were slaughtered for doing so (Wounded Knee Massacre).
Not exactly sure what it means, though I take it as a sign to pay attention to VISIONS.
This is how it happened:
I was writing a song, and wanted to use the words "Sitting Bull" and Ghost Dance. I wasn't sure if Sitting Bull was connected to the Ghost Dance... so I looked it up and learned he is connected with it. He was killed for supporting the dance. His death lead to the Wounded Knee Massacre which occurred 13 days later. I found this photo and admired it for it's power. I came into the other room and turned on the tv. First thing I saw was a movie that said "and I heard you have a celebrity now, Sitting Bull" and then there was a full on shot of Sitting Bull (actor) looking at the camera. The whole movie was about the massacre. I rarely turn on my TV by the way. The movie is called "I Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee." This occurred about 1:30 AM Taiwan time 4/24/2012
