Born in Hong Kong in 1985 Pete was raised in a rapidly expanding and what became the worlds densest city. He went to school in the UK where he was awarded an art scholarship which saw him through his A levels. He went on to study architecture at Newcastle University and now lives and works as an architect / artist in his home city of Hong Kong. His work is inspired by urbanism but more importantly tries to find the calm and the individual amongst the storm. Working with pens he attempts to fuse traditional drawing techniques with modern styles to unwrap the urban patchwork and investigate the merging of old and new, traditional and modern, lost and found
