Freelance Actor, Writer and Subtitle Translator

They say everybody has to start somewhere, and looking back I'd say that I'm blessed by my humble origins.

I was born in a small town of about thirteen-thousand in Alberta, Canada with not a whole lot to do and head full of dreams. I grew up immersed in film, both from the United States and Hong Kong. Suffice it to say, they made very good friends with my imagination. This enjoyment of 'living' another person would follow me as I grew up.

What began as merely imitating Jackie Chan, practicing kung fu in my underwear in front of the TV (you might even still catch me doing this now!), became my escape during high school where I found new identities on stage in theatre. Acting had revealed itself as my passion and the only I could do well (unless you count video games).

But when it came time to go off to university, unsure of the future and with little time to decide, I did what most normal people might do and chose a comparatively safer path, opting for a degree in languages. I suppose dreams have a funny way of reminding us time and time again of how powerful they are.

So I took the leap and crash landed in Hong Kong, where I'm giving my passion the chance it deserves, seeking opportunities in every place, person, and moment I come across, and most importantly, enjoying every step of the journey!
