RTHK Poverty reality show will be aired on ATV starting Aug 22 to Sept 19.  and on Now TV  Channel 333  every Sunday at 7:30pm.

I am one of the participants of the reality show which I had been put in a wooden partitioned room in Shum Shui Po, living with a single-parent family, taking care of a 8-year-old kid,  and working 10 hours a day in a local noodle cafe as a waitress and also washing dishes. This is a very tough experience, and I definitely got a lot out of the show. This production is not only a show and a challenge, but a real experience for us (participants) to understand the situation, reality and any misconceptions we might have of poverty, to realize ways we can help people climb out of poverty or improve their situation, and to help raise awareness about the problem our society is still facing - poverty.
