Pro Tools 8?

There has been a lot of talk and speculation about the release of the next Pro Tools, version number 8.

A lot of people think that Digidesign will announce this at the next AES(Audio Engineering Society) convention in San Francisco, October 3-5, along with possible new hardware.

Apparently, some people received an invitation as VIP to Digidesign headquarters to preview this new release before the AES show, which solidifies this rumor.

The word is that there will be lots of new features added to this new release.
