I just had to share this - one of many "artist" press releases that I receive on a (sadly) daily basis.. Who writes this stuff? Is "art" just one big acedemic club of pseudo-intellectuals patting each other (metaphorically of course) on the back, smugly safe in their own self-absorbed universe where people actually give a fuck? Or maybe I'm just not very clever.

Actually it was the most fun we've had in ages... It started off at FC HQ with me, Mrs FC and the Uptown Rockers getting ready for the big night out (and making the most of Mrs FCs professional makeup skills). Then first stop of the night was the awesome Dead Not Alive bash at AZURE where the whole possee was out in force and then later on to the Africa Bar (via Dragon-i and Yumla) for the mighty Uptown Rockers gig...

Two years ago today me and Mrs FC tied the not in HK at St Johns Cathedral and then headed off with 150 of our best friends and family for the party of parties in Koh Samui...

Today was the first day in a year that I was late into the studio. The reason - last night was YUMLA's fifth birthday party... But I expect most people already know that since I saw almost everyone there. Anyways, I'm lucky enough to have been invoilved in Yumla as shareholder since the beginning and last night was a proud night... Great tunes, lots of booze and an awesome group of people - that's what it's always been about and to see it still going strong after 5 years is just awesome.

Been listening for a while and personally I love it... Of course some people will say that it's not Master of Puppets - but then that's clearly obvious - they're 20 years apart - people should move on... That's the big question currently being asked by the ever-intriguing, constantly changing creative force that is ROBOT. Had the Fung Shui man over to the studio last week - an interesting experience... I can't say that I truly believe, but then I can't say that I don't either.. Anyways - one of the (many) things we had to change was the large artwork behind my personal working area - apparently it needed to be more red, more happy, and bit more suitable for a man with a family than the semi nude tattoo babe that I had up there previously...

Found this while going through my bottom draw this morning. Anyone know what it is? I took 3,500 digi-pix of this object if anyone wants to go through them and see it from every conceivable angle and using a whole array of special settings.
