Green with Festivity

Hope your March was filled with good luck, fun, and a fast cure for a hang over! We celebrated the month with the premiere Asian Pacific American film festival in the country! Formerly known as the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival (SFIAAFF), CAAMfest delivers even more and has something for everyone.

I always look forward to this film festival, and this year’s program was no exception to exemplary film, fun, and folks. My favorite part is connecting with other artists, fans, supporters, and of course, the parties! This year I had the honor of being part of the CAAMfest Shorts Screening Committee where I got to review and help select the films that were programed in the festival. This was a thrilling process and I got to view some great work by fellow filmmakers. Other Revelcade members also contributed their time to the festival by volunteering and attending numerous events.

If you haven’t been, definitely check out the fest next year. In the meantime, keep supporting your independent filmmakers, so we can continue to create diverse content and show them in a theatre near you.
