Greetings,
I know this post is a little late, but it’s worth the wait! Our most recent project to hit the tube is a commercial for Habitat for Humanity. Grant Inaba, a.k.a. Cream Control, has been volunteering with the organization for several years and they recently opened a ReStore in San Carlos, CA and we got the chance to shoot a promotional video for them. We spent an afternoon in the store and got some great footage for a wonderful cause. Check out the video and learn how to ReStore today!
In addition to building materials, Robin Hong got cooking with his piece, “Eye on OAK: Paella Cookoff featuring Chef Lamont.” Here’s what Robin has to say about the video. In the patio of Caña, Chef Lamont goes head-to-head with the house chef as they hand out morsels of paella scooped right from the sizzling hot paellera (paella pan). Unsuspecting pedestrians turn into spectators as their five senses are enraptured in the cooking exhibition (mighty guitar performed by Estas Tonne, a true modern-day troubadour). In the end the votes are tallied and the patrons ultimately determine the champion of this paella cookoff competition. Get a taste and feel the heat with the video here.
If these videos weren’t enough, don’t worry, there’s plenty more in store. In post production now is a promotional video for Granny Cart Gangsta (GCG), the female subgroup from Filipino American theatre group, Bindlestiff Studio. In pre-production is another GCG production, this time a music video parody of Beyonce’s “Rule the World” (Girls)! This and much more await the upcoming months, so stay tuned and see you soon!
Cheers,
-Jason
