香港國際電影節恭喜賈樟柯執導的短片《營生》入選第69屆盧卡諾影展的非競賽短片單元。《營生》是由合一影業出品、香港國際電影節協會監製的「美好合一2016」四部短片之一。

中國第六代導演的代表人物賈樟柯，作品素以關注變化的中國和底層人物的掙扎生活而廣受好評，在國際影展中屢獲殊榮。而《營生》在其老家山西汾陽拍攝完成，描述了幾個失業曠工在縣城裡到處遊走，尋找工作的戲劇人生。談及此次拍攝初衷，他表示︰「『營生』在我家鄉的方言中，指人賴以生存的職業。既有勞動，也有活下去的意義，是帶有諷刺的喜感。」《營生》由賈樟柯太太趙濤編劇。

2010年，賈樟柯於第63屆盧卡諾影展獲頒終身成就獎。

The Hong Kong International Film Festival congratulates director JIA Zhangke on the selection of The Hedonists, for the 69th Locarno Film Festival Fuori concorso: Shorts section. The Hedonists is of the four shorts films produced by Heyi-HKIFF for the anthology Beautiful 2016.

As an internationally acclaimed director and a leader of the Sixth Generation, JIA Zhangke is noted for his portrayals of the realities of Chinese society. The Hedonists, filmed in his hometown, Fenyang, Shanxi, is an engaging and humorous drama about several unemployed Shanxi coalminers looking for work. He said: “The Chinese title of the film is in my hometown dialect and refers to the ways in which people occupy themselves in life. I have always liked this term as it contains the meaning of ‘running’, ‘working’ and ‘carrying on’.” The film was written by JIA’s wife, the actress Zhao Tao.

In 2010, JIA was also honored with the Pardo d’onore Swisscom in the 63rd Locarno International Film Festival.
