The HKIFF announced its very first collaboration with the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), which is celebrating its 40 th Anniversary this year. The HKIFF will showcase a selection of 16 programmes from the ICAC’s TV drama series over the past 40 years. On 26 March, the Festival will also world premiere Adam WONG’s with Dante LAM as the Consultant Director, starring LIU Kai-Chi, Venus WONG, Eddie LAW and Jo KOO, from the new ICAC 2014 series. This screening will kick-off the “ ”. Apart from the World Premiere of Better Tomorrow, selections of classic ICAC TV drama series include (1978), directed by Ann HUI, (2009) directed by Herman YAU and (2009) and (2011), directed by Dante LAM.
