You are cordially invited to attend the 36th Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF) Grand Opening and Cocktail. Details are as follows: 

Date:21 March 2012 (Wed) 

Venue:Convention Hall, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre 

Time:

5:30 pm (Press call time) 

6:30 pm (Photo call - Red carpet arrival of guests, G/F) 

6:30 pm (Cocktail reception and Photo call - Red carpet inside the Convention Hall) 

7:00 pm (Opening Ceremony) 

7:30 pm (Stage programme ends)

Press Zones:There will be two press zones for the Grand Opening of the 35th HKIFF: 

Zone 1: Located next to the HKCEC Harbour Road Entrance (drop-off Red Carpet area photo-taking) 

Zone 2: Located inside the HKCEC Convention Hall (Red carpet, main stage ceremony) 

Please kindly arrange sufficient press for the two press areas. All guests will be arranged for a brief media interview (within 30 minutes) after the show, please arrange with on-site coordinators. 

Press Receptions: Press reception counters are located at HKCEC Harbour Road Entrance, and Level 1, Passage to the Convention Foyer. 

Remarks: After party will be held in VIEW62 by Paco Roncero, 62nd Floor, Hopewell Centre, 17 Kennedy Road, Hong Kong at 10:15pm on the same night. Part of the guests will attend while press zone will be arranged. 

Press Stage (in Convention Hall):2 feet in height 

Press Stage:Distance to Main Stage - about 50 feet / Red Carpet - about 10 feet (please arrange necessary photo equipment) 

Camera crews are welcome to cover the event in designated areas. Please present the necessary press identification.
