夏日國際電影節2016：奪命瘋捕、64：少女誘拐殺人事件

《奪命瘋捕》有如現代出埃及記，非法移民名叫摩西，偷渡穿越美國邊界，卻遇上嗜殺排外之徒持槍獵殺，瞬間置身殺戮戰場。由《引力邊緣》幕後父子兵聯手炮製，《向政府說不》的基爾加西亞般奴主演，在美國邊境荒漠展開驚心動魄的絕境逃亡。當下美國右派民粹主義勢力崛起，本片正好敲響警鐘。

《64：少女誘拐殺人事件》的故事，去年已被NHK拍成電視劇，備受好評，今年就由瀨瀨敬久拍成電影版，早前參加上海國際電影節，因被改名《昭和64年》，引起傳媒關注。故事主線是發生在昭和64年（即1989年）的兇案，而昭和64年其實只有短短七天，後因日皇裕仁逝世而改年號為平成，因此也代表一個時代的終結，卻留下一宗懸案，而且在殺人罪追訴期將近屆滿之時，一模一樣的誘拐案再次發生，令案情更顯撲朔迷離。

SummerIFF16: DESIERTO and SIX FOUR

Jonas Cuaron, son of director Alfonso Cuaron and writer of GRAVITY, directs Gael Garcia Bernal in this thriller about a group of would-be immigrants whose dream of entering the US becomes a nightmare when a deranged vigilante begins stalking them through the Sonoran Desert. DESIERTO is a deliciously satisfying cinematic experience where - as in GRAVITY - survival is the only goal, and there is virtually nowhere to hide.

Written and directed by Zeze Takahisa, SIX FOUR is a faithful adaptation of novelist Yokoyama Hideo's bestselling mystery, which was also dramatized by NHK into a TV series last year. The film is an ode to the Showa Era as it is a crime thriller about the kidnapping of a young girl that occurs during the last week of Showa. 14 years had passed, the chief of PR for the National Police Agency, Mikami, is still haunted by the case and is pressured by the press to solve it before the killer escapes beyond the reach of the law.
