第四十一屆香港國際電影節特別選映法國電影宗師羅拔布烈遜 ，以及菲律賓名導邁克迪里安的七部修復名作，讓影迷大飽眼福。布烈遜的結構主義與簡約風格在影史獨一無二，今次放映的《最後逃生》、《扒手》、《溫柔女子》及《錢》四部經典，可欣賞大師精煉的電影語言如何出神入化。迪里安擅拍社會題材，其三部佳作《浮生暫借夢》、《走粉瘋情畫》及《愛比仇更深》，正深刻反映人性的複雜與現實的挫折。

此外，布烈遜回顧展共十二部經典將於五月至七月的電影節發燒友（Cine Fan）接力放映，讓影迷重溫大師的光影傳奇。

HKIFF41 is pleased to present four classics of the French master filmmaker #RobertBresson in digital restoration and the newly restored triptych of Filipino director #MikeDeLeon. Renowned for his spare and ascetic style that turns the everyday into a spiritual transcendence, #Bresson's approach is best illustrated in his four masterpieces including A MAN ESCAPED, PICKPOCKET, A GENTLE WOMAN and MONEY. De Leon surprised world cinema with his celebration of stylistic camerawork to probe the national history of the Philippines, as witnessed in MOMENTS IN A STOLEN DREAM, WILL YOUR HEART BEAT FASTER? and AN INDIVISBLE HEAVEN.

CineFan will also launch a retrospective of Robert Bresson in its May to July programmes.
