? Restored Classics Revisited

The 41st Hong Kong International Film Festival is pleased to present six restored classics that stand the test of time and are given a new life through digital #restoration. This year’s festival programme includes #FritzLang's pioneering silent work Destiny (1921), #AkiraKurosawa's epic masterpiece #SevenSamurai (1954), Cuban radical classic Memories of Underdevelopment (1968), the unique and monumental #Out1(1971) by the late #JacquesRivette, Ermanno Olmi's #Cannes Palme d'Or winner The Tree of Wooden Clogs (1978) and Andrei #Tarkovsky's allegorical science fiction film Stalker (1979).
