一入豪門深似海，天真少女鍾芳婷新婚即捲入兇案迷陣，更是我見猶憐。高富帥丈夫前妻雖香消玉殞但陰魂不散，樹影燈光皆令她疑神疑鬼步步驚心。《蝴蝶夢》的氣氛烘托與場面設計與《大國民》相似，未知奧遜威爾斯是否受本片啟發？
