問世間情是何物？歌劇院怪客因愛成恨的悲劇古今中外皆令人神傷。1929年修復版的默片經典《歌場魅影》以恐怖形式，描寫毀容怪客在巴黎歌劇院地下建造密室，以機關巧作神出鬼沒，當年首映帶來莫大驚喜，對日後改編作品影響深遠。只映一場，錯過了便是遺憾。

In the 1929 restored Hollywood silent classic THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, Lon Chaney terrified audiences at the Paris Opera House with his horrifying Phantom, in grotesque make-up of his own design, and set the prototype for many followers. Only one screening. Have no regrets.
